Recommended tour activities to see the daily Balinese life in Bonnyuh village.

A unique opportunity to visit a small rice farming village in the heart of Gianyar. Bonnyuh is Honey, Ketut and Wayans family village where they grew up, their parents have a beautiful rice farm and fruit trees scattered along the streams edge. Growing up in Bonnyuh Honey and her siblings would work the farm every day with Ibu and Bapak (Mum and Dad) helping collect fruit to sell at the morning market, cutting grass for the cows and working the rice farm.

We have designed a truly unique experience where you can spend time walking around the rice farms, seeing the local farmers in the paddies and the kids playing in the fields, You’ll also be welcomed into the family home to meet Ibu and Bapak and try some authentic balinese food, their organic rice and fresh fruits from there farm.

You’ll learn about the way local homes are built and positioned towards Mt Agung and what each temple means in the family home, how ceremonies and cremations are made and go to a small natural spring for cleansing. A true Balinese experience.

On the way to the village you’ll have the opportunity to stop at Sukawati art market which is famous for traditional Balinese arts and crafts. It’s best to leave in the morning from Canang Villas Bingin to arrive at the village for lunch and return home in the evening. The village tour is approximately 8 hours.
