The villa we stayed in at the small Canang complex was absolutely charming. It’s well designed, spacious and super comfortable. We enjoyed the walk to the beach when we wanted to go, but as we were so relaxed and comfortable at the villa, we often just chilled out there and enjoyed the privacy of our private pool. There’s a great new restaurant only a few meters down the road which is wonderful for a quick bite (we didn’t expect such high quality, imaginative cuisine in a semi-rural, quiet area). If you want to explore further afield, the owners have bought some rather nice new scooters we rented one day to go to Ulluwatu temple. Lovely place for a peaceful, really relaxing holiday.
